Riitta Smeds, Espoo Ambassador 2010

Espoo Convention & Marketing  has nominated Riitta Smeds for the EspooAmbassador 2010. Smeds is the directior of SimLab, Enterpise Simulation Laboratory and a dedicated professor in Aalto University. Riitta Smeds has earned her award by playin an active role in international association work and contributing in brinning congresses to Finland.  Riitta has also acted as a responsible congress and workshop organiser in Espoo.  

Smeds leads the Special Interest Group on Experimental Interactive Learning in Industrial Management which is one of IFIP´s research group. The International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) is an umbrella organization for national societies working in the field of information technology. Smeds is also a board member in a researc network of Cicero Learning.

EspooAmbassador award was given to Riitta Smeds in 21th September 2010 in connection to "Syystreffit" Autumn meeting of city of Espoo held in Dipoli Congress Centre.
