The vibrant City of Espoo is one of the leading congress cities in Finland. Here science, culture and business meet the unspoilt wilderness.  In 2009 the city hosted 66 international congresses. Otaniemi in Espoo is the Nordic countries' leading technology hub, distinguished by a unique cluster of top-level research organizations, academic institutions and technology-oriented businesses, which have a major impact on the popularity as a congress destination.

Helsinki University of Technology and Aalto University
The leading Finnish university of its kind, TKK, provides education and carries out research in most areas of technology and architecture. It is located in Otaniemi, the heart of Finnish science and technology. There are about 15 000 students in Otaniemi, including 1,300 foreign students from 90 different countries. TKK is one of the largest scientific conference organizers in Espoo.

Helsinki School of Economics, University of Art and Design Helsinki and Helsinki University of Technology merged into a foundation-based university, Aalto University in 2009. The merger of these three universities will open up new opportunities for multidisciplinary teaching and research.

A broad and flexible range of modern conference facilities are available for all types of meetings and events for 10 -1 000 people. The premises and services can be modified to suit the occasion, from intimate customer meetings and dinner parties to sauna evenings.

Excellent connections
Espoo's location on the coastal Finland, next to the capital Helsinki, offers good traffic connections. It is easy to reach, just a half an hour from the Helsinki international airport and harbours.
