Guided Theme Cruises

Espoo archipelago has many historical stories to tell and beautiful places to show. Veka-Line arranges guided theme cruises in the unique Finnish archipelago. Spend an unforgettable moment with your family and friends! The cruices depart and arrive at Otaranta in Otaniemi. The Midsummer cruise is an exception, departing and arriving at Mellsteninranta in Haukilahti.

Pre-bookings is recommended, there are limited seats. Theme cruises will be executed if there are at least 10 people registered before noon of the cruise day. Payment only in cash before boarding.

A Spring excursion to Pentala Island
22 May 12 pm - 4 pm
The Pentala Island is at its best when spring starts to turn into summer. During this excursion you will see an exceptional sight, an island in the middle of a lake on an island. It is recommended to wear warm clothing and take some lunch along. Guiding in finnish, possible also in english.
Prices: adults 25 €, seniors 17 €, and children (7-16 years) 10 €.

Midsummer bonfire cruise
on Midsummer Eve 25 June 8pm - 23pm
This traditional Finnish Midsummer evening cruise starts from Mellsterninranta in Haukilahti. The cruise will first go around the most beautiful parts of Espoo archipelago landing then to Seurasaari's magnificent bonfire. Refreshments and coffee available onboard.
Notice that our office is closed on Friday 25 June!

Onni the Squirrel's big Sea Adventure
5.7. / 12.7. / 19.7.  and 2.8. 5pm - 8pm
Onni the Squirrel invites you to experience the funniest sea adventure of the summer in Espoo archipelago. Veka-Line's vessel takes you and Onni the Squirrel to visit an island where you have the opportunity to enjoy some refreshments and adventure with Onni's naturepuzzles. Not to forget the beautiful nature and the fascinating history of the island. Perhaps you find an actual treasure from the hidings of the island..
Prices: adults 23 €, seniors and students 15 €, children (7-16 years) 10 €, family ticket 60 € (2adults + 2 children)

Summerfun and life in the archipelago

Time travel to the history of Espoo archipelago, empathize with the cosy villa life and hear colourful stories from the past.  During the cruise you will get to know also to the years of prohibition of alcohol. Guiding in finnish, possible also in english.

Fireworks cruise
9 September 8.30pm - 11.30pm
The traditional fireworks cruise takes us out to the sea, close to the island Rajasaari in Helsinki, to admire the beautiful fireworks in the Finnish championship of fireworks. The championships are arranged for the 13th time this year, and they have become one of the most popular outdoor events in Finland. During the cruise it is possible to enjoy coffee and soft drinks.
Prices: adults 25 €, children (7-16 years old) 15 €.

An Autumn excursion to Pentala Island
