Public Transportation & Journey Planner

Schedules of regional lines in Espoo and all public transport on metropolitan are you will find on www.hsl.fi.

The metropolitan area has a unified fare system. The region is divided into three tariff zones. Kauniainen is part of the Espoo zone. You can travel with Helsinki region travel card or with single tickets bought from ticket machines, the bus driver or train conductor on all local buses and trains. 1-day tourist tickets can be bought on buses, local trains and from multi-ticket machines. Children under 7 years free of charge.

Service covers buses and trains in Espoo, as well as trams, underground and ferries in Helsinki regional lines. In Journey Planner there is extensive information on routes on door to door -basis. Espoo offers almost 600 kilometres of cycling trails. Visit museums, cultural attractions, beaches or just enjoy the beautiful nature while getting in shape. Scheduled Boats

Scheduled boat service to and from Espoo's islands operates in summertime from June to September. Routes and timetables will be published on Spring.
