Espoo Cultural Centre is the main scene for performing arts and cultural life in Espoo. Tapiola Sinfonietta (the Espoo city orchestra), the Espoo Theatre, April Jazz Festival, Espoo Ciné Festival, PianoEspoo and ChoralEspoo Festivals are on the stage on regular bases. Cultural Centre is located in central Tapiola, right next to Original Sokos Hotel Tapiola Garden (the official conference hotel).

EMMA - Espoo Museum of Modern Art

EMMA – Espoo Museum of Modern Art is one of the largest and most important art museums in Finland. EMMA’s exhibition rooms are divided between a presentation of the Saastamoinen Foundation Art Collection and changing exhibitions. Through its collection and exhibition activities, EMMA profiles itself as a museum of domestic and international modernism, contemporary art and design. EMMA is located in the WeeGee Exhibition Centre in Tapiola.

The Finnish Nature Centre Haltia

Haltia is a new type of visitor centre, bringing all of Finland’s nature under one roof and closer to the visitor through both the building’s facilities and its stunning exhibitions. In Haltia, you are surrounded by the spectacular views of Nuuksio and Lake Pitkäjärvi as well as excellent hiking grounds. The Haltia exhibitions offer you an authentic experience of nature from all of Finland. 

Haltia’s versatile and adaptable facilities in the stately natural environment of Nuuksio offer a unique setting for the varying needs of conference organisers. The auditorium  for 200 people, located in the first floor, is ideal for seminars, performances, concerts and film shows. A speciality in the auditorium is the front wall, which can be opened up to give a view of the stunning scenery of Nuuksio’s Lake Pitkäjärvi.

How to get there: We have organised a bus transfer from the hotel (Original Sokos Hotel Tapiola Garden) and back. After seminar day, the bus will drive also to the airport. Remember to reserve a seat when you register.
