The four Aalto University schools of technology are based in Otaniemi in Espoo, 10 km from the center of Helsinki, on a campus designed by Alvar Aalto. Otaniemi has the highest concentration of high technology in the Nordic countries. A unique combination of education, study and business is densely packed into this small area.
Aalto University campus in Espoo and its venues are easily accessible by public transportation and by car. Helsinki Airport is only half an hour drive away and bus journey to Helsinki takes just 15-20 minutes. By the end of 2016 Espoo will have its own underground connected to Helsinki network. After that metro takes you to Helsinki in 5-10 minutes.
Undergraduate Center / Otakaari 1
Undergraduate Center is located in heart of Otaniemi. This venue offers great facilities to congresses, seminars and other events up to 600 people. In total Undergraduate Center offers over 10 auditoriums (for 70-600 persons) and smaller class rooms for meetings and workshops. All rooms include high quality of technique and free of charge Aalto Open WLAN-. Auditoriums include dataprojector, computer, document camera, overhead, microphone and hearing loop.

Former Congress Centre Dipoli will serve as Aalto University's main building from autumn 2017 onwards. As a building, it represents a new type of multi-purpose design that showcases the University's expertise, activities and people.
Dipoli will offer the entire Aalto community and its stakeholders meeting places and work spaces as well as event and exhibition facilities. The building will also house several cafeterias and restaurants that will be open to all. Autumn 2017 is mainly booked for events of Aalto University. Open Innovation House - Seminar hall
Open Innovation House offers a spacious and airy seminar hall to events with 60 - 100 participants. The venue is also suitable for example cocktail events. Open Innovation House is located at Otaniementie 19-21.

Micronova - meeting rooms
Micronova is research centre of Aalto University and VTT for micro- and nanotechnology. Micronova is located in Tietotie 3. Micronova offers two meting rooms for events with 10 - 70 participants.

Aalto Inn Laajalahti meeting room and sauna
Aalto Inn - Aalto University Guest House is located in Otaniemi right next to Dipoli and Radisson Blu Hotel. On the 5th floor of the house is Aalto Inn Laajalahti, meeting room and sauna. Address is Otaranta 4. There is an open view over Laajalahti Bay from the meeting room. It is possible to reserve Laajalahti on weekdays from 8.00 am. to 10 pm.

Within walking distance is also Forenom Kivimies Hostel offering affordable accommodation option.
