Hotel Matts

The new Hotel Matts has opened its doors to customers in February 2021 and offers great opportunities for short- and long-term accommodation. The hotel is located in Espoo’s Matinkylä, just next to shopping mall Iso Omena and close to the seafront.

Hotel Matts has 192 rooms and 77 furnished apartments which are offering excellent options for short- and long-term visits. The rooms are decorated in stylish Scandinavian interior design. There are options for a single traveller to larger groups.

The hotel is located with excellent traffic connections. The western entrance to the Matinkylä metro station is right next to the main entrance of Hotel Matts. Metro journeys from Hotel Matts for example to Keilaniemi will take 9 minutes and 19 minutes to Helsinki city centre.

The Helsinki-Vantaa airport is a mere 30-minute car ride away and connection to the hotel there will be a parking garage with plenty of space. The Matinkylä bus terminal is just next door to the shopping centre. Shopping centre Iso Omena is just across the street and the seaside is only two kilometres away.

HOTEL ROOMS AND FURNISHED APARTMENTS

Different room types and apartments offer suitable options for parties of all sizes and types. For example, adjoining Combi rooms are perfect for families and the suites with a sauna bring some luxury to your stay.

All the hotel's 77 furnished apartments are with balconies. Apartment sizes vary between studios to three bedrooms and some also have a sauna. Private kitchen and laundry facilities bring home comforts for longer stays or even just a short one.

The hotel also offers pet-friendly rooms and apartments.

SERVICES

On the first floor of the hotel, restaurant Freja offers versatile services from breakfast to lunch and á la carte dinner. In the summer the restaurant expands to an outdoor terrace. The lobby bar adjoining the reception is open 24/7.

Meetings and events for up to 100 people can be organized in the conference room which is in connection to the street-level restaurant. The top 7th floor has an atmospheric sauna.

The parking garage has plenty of parking space and electric car charging points. For those travelling by bike, the hotel has spacious indoor bicycle storage.
