SPACES FOR MEETINGS, PARTY AND RELAXING EVENTS

Hotel Nuuksio can host events for hundreds or thousands of people. You will find suitable facilities and services for daytime meetings as well as for overnight events.

Adjustable and bright meeting rooms provide a functional setting for groups from 5 to 200 people to work efficiently. All meeting rooms have 100 Mbit wireless internet and a data projector.

The Mäkitupa villa, beach cabinet, hut and barbecue shed in the yard are perfect for all kinds of needs, from dining to herbal course, from choir camp to cooking school. The Loimu and Liekki, fireplace rooms in the main building, and the Tuohi conference room are stimulating spaces and perfect for planning meetings or brainstorming.

Restaurant Nuuksion Tupa and meeting spaces Hopeapaju and Kelohonka, fireplace room Loimu and Villa Mäkitupa are suitable for different kind of seremonies. The facilities can fit groups of up to 130 people, and the menus created by our chef provide an unforgettable taste experience combined with happy celebration.

The hotel's courtyard is a safe place for major outdoor events, competitions and activities. There are 2 tennis courts, a volleyball court and a frisbee golf course in the yard. You find also a variety of activities for different seasons, such as rowing boats and ski trails. The routes maintained by Metsähallitus to Nuuksio National Park start from the hotel yard.

Versatile program and adventure services can be combined with meeting packages and other events. For example, traditional hikes and nature experiences, adventures and races on land and in the water, as well as meditations, herbal schools, pampering moments and theme dinners are all here in nature waiting for you.

RESTAURANT NUUKSION TUPA

The Nuuksion Tupa restaurant seats 140 people and the lobby bar up to 70 people. In food products, we favor seasonal raw materials and use local and organic products when possible.

In the restaurant we serve a rich buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner.

In addition, we prepare seasonally renewed menus by different themes, buffet and table dinners, sauna and cocktail menus for groups to pre-order. Celebration meals for anniversaries are a success with years of experience, so you can concentrate on the celebration yourself, we'll take care of the rest.

Food and soft and alcoholic drinks are served to all the banquet halls, including the sauna areas, the hut and Villa Mäkitupa.

HOTEL AND ACCOMMODATION

The hotel has 65 rooms of which 53 are double rooms, 11 single rooms and one superior room with a total capacity of 150 beds. Some rooms are wheelchair accessible.

Pets are welcome in a few rooms at an additional cost.

In addition to traditional hotel accommodation, Hotel Nuuksio offers group and adventure accommodation in an idyllic setting on the side of Lake Siikajärvi, away from the dust and noise of the city.

The Blue Villa, which has accommodation with home style lounges for groups of up to 30 people, is ideally suited for school class hiking and camping.

Adventure accommodation in tents for groups of up to 12 people in Hammock, either in Nuuksio National Park or in the immediate vicinity of the hotel yard.

Motorhomes and caravans can also stay in the hotel area.

BEACH AND POOL SAUNA

Relaxation and well-being are guaranteed by the lovely lake side sauna or by the swimming pool in the main building.

The lake side sauna with cabinets stands just next to the lake Siikajärvi and gives you a taste of Finnish lake scenery at its best. You can also order evening snacks and experiences, such as sauna yoga. Many of our customers have charmed their international guests with a combination of sauna, lake and delicious food. During the winter season, the saunas have the opportunity for ice swimming.

The pool area in the hotel main building has own saunas for women and men, swimming pool and jacuzzi. The pool is completely attached to the nature as the hotel courtyard opens behind large glass walls. While the spa pampers you, you can admire the bright starry sky or the colors of summer evening. Saunas also have access to a fireplace area in the locker room, where refreshments and snacks can be pre-ordered.

Villa Mäkitupa, located in the forest, has a sauna too and it’s also an ideal place for sauna nights with meals.

HOW TO FIND

From Helsinki: When driving from Helsinki on Turku Highway, exit at the NUPURI/ÄMMÄSSUO junction onto Nupurintie road (the so called Vanha Turuntie road) and continue towards Veikkola. Turn to Siikajärventie road (SIIKAJÄRVI), and finally turn left to Naruportintie road (SIIKARANTA 2 km). There are street signs on Nupurintie road to guide you to Hotel Nuuksio.

From Turku: When driving from Turku on Turku Highway, exit at the VEIKKOLA junction and continue from the Veikkola roundabout towards BEMBÖLE onto Nupurintie road (the so called Vanha Turuntie road and towards Helsinki). Turn to Siikajärventie road (SIIKAJÄRVI), and finally turn left to Naruportintie road (SIIKARANTA 2 km). There are street signs on Nupurintie road to guide you to Hotel Nuuksio.
