Minas Oy

In Espoo, in the Nuuksio national park Minas Oy arranges experience days, courses, picnics and weekend camps, with a ''Horse as a friend'' theme. We also offer carriage/sleigh rides with a Fjord horse. The rides can either be a part of an experience day or as its own trip. There's also horseback riding for children.

You can arrange an experience day for maximum of 20 people with a theme of nature and horses. We customize the day according to your needs, for example the horses can only be the landscape of the day or the day can be built around the horses. You can choose activities such as yard games, carriage ride, forest trip with the horses or chilling by a fire or in the woods. Others can also choose a carriage ride and others go on a guided walk in the forest in the meantime.

The carriage is being pulled by a Fjord horse gelding Felix Foss. The carriage is a Swedish hunting carriage approximately from the 1920s, which is now continuing its life in the Nuuksio national park fully renovated. The carriage seats about 6 people but as Felix's career is only just beginning, we take people on moderately. We do about 1,5 hours long trips which include a coffee/tea/juice and a bun. We can also plan together a picnic or a shorter ride according to your needs. You can also plan an experience day around the carriage ride for example for a company, holiday or just your own group.

A forest trip with horses in the Nuuksio national park is an amazing experience for all, whether you’re an experienced horse person or just going for a hike with family. We can plan the trip according to your needs. Some long for silence, to calm down in nature by horses, others a brisk excercise while chatting to other people. The forest trip doesn’t include horseback riding.
