Would you like to be part of the Visit Espoo team? 

We are a team of passionate and skilled professionals in the tourism, meeting and congress industry, marketing and communications, and project expertise. We offer internship positions for university and applied sciences students throughout the year and occasionally have openings for new team members.

Open internships

We offer internship positions for tourism students throughout the year. Internships with us allow you to explore various tasks in leisure tourism and the meeting and congress industry. You will gain valuable work experience, build networks, and get acquainted with our field's opportunities. We typically seek interns for a minimum of three-month periods, but longer internships are also possible.

Responsibilities include 

  • Familiarising yourself with Espoo's tourism landscape
  • Providing tourism information
  • Assisting with marketing communications tasks
  • Content creation for the visitespoo.fi website
  • Content creation for social media channels
  • Participating in Visit Espoo's events and assisting with event organisation
  • Meeting and congress statistics

We expect interns to be fluent in Finnish and English and interested in tourism marketing. The specific tasks will be defined during the internship, and adequate orientation will be provided for all tasks.

The internship should be related to studies and contribute to earning study credits. We do not provide a salary for the internship period, but a lunch benefit is included.

Miikka is the embodiment of calm, and he possesses a phenomenal sense of humour. He's Pori's gift to Espoo as he guides his Visit team with a firm but gentle hand. The "El Presidente" of the travel sector is a one-of-a-kind expert on the congress world's twists and turns, development projects, and the most spectacular destinations. Outside work, he focuses on his family and sports activities — preferably of the winter kind.
