In Espoo, adventure is part of the seasons
Nature doesn't begin outside the city. It is woven into everyday life, and you can experience it by exploring the city on a city bike. You can cycle from your hotel to Espoo Waterfront Walkway, from the seaside restaurant to cultural sights and museums, and enjoy the blend of Finnish nature so close and urban architecture that offers room to think, feel, and discover without crowds and noise. By city bike, you are always at the center of nature experiences and urban services.
City Bikes, part of everyday life
In Espoo and Helsinki, you will find up to 460 City Bike stations and over 4 600 bikes (in the HSL public transport AB zone) making it easy and convenient to hop on and enjoy the ride. The City Bike season starts at the beginning of April and continues until the end of October. Note that city bikes are not available in zone C.
How does it work?
You can choose from day, week, or season subscriptions in the HSL app. First, register and create your own cyclist ID, then pick up any available city bike. You can ride up to 60 minutes after picking a bike. After 60 minutes, the city bikes must be parked or returned to the bike station. If you need extra time, you can pick up the city bike again and continue another journey for up to 60 minutes.
