Sweat all worries away in Finnish Sauna

Can you already imagine how your busy life worries decrease with every drop of water in the Finnish sauna? Good! We Finns love sauna and sweating there - it cleans our minds, boosts our immune system, and is even considered a social activity. You can choose from wood-heated saunas, electric saunas, or smoke saunas and always get a calm, happy feeling afterward!

Sauna Etiquette

  1. Shower & hygiene - shower before entering the sauna and sit on a towel or pefletti in the sauna.
  2. Dress appropriately - usually nude in same gender and private saunas, in public and mixed saunas use swimsuit or towel.
  3. Respect the steam (löyly) - ask before throwing water on stones.
  4. Keep it calm & respectful - quiet conversation and no inappropriate behavior.
  5. Listen to your body & cool off - step out when feeling heated, hydrate (also when in the sauna), and enjoy a cooling ritual.
