ESPOO ARCHIPELAGO AND RECREATIONAL ISLANDS
Bylandet Island
The island is located on the Kirkkonummi, front of Porkkala district. You will find there are campfire areas, firewoods, outhouses and a pier for boaters.
Gåsgrund island
The terrain of the island is variable from cliffs to lush meadows. There are beaches suitable for swimming on the north shore of the island. Knapperskär Island

Stora Herrö island
The beaches of the island are rocky, but there are also sandy bays with meadows on the eastern shore, the forests are mostly pine forests. Stora Herrö has private areas, but most of the north and eastern shores of the island are open areas. The island has a rental sauna, campfire areas with firewoods, outhouses, observation tower and a pier for boaters. The island also has surveillance and in the summer it is easily accessible by scheduled archipelago boats.
Torra Lövö Island
The coastline of the island is rocky, smooth rocky and meadows. The island has a pier and a cooking area.
VÄRANSBY RECREATIONAL AREA
The camping and caravan area is located in Hirsala, Kirkkonummi. There is a three-kilometer-long seaside area which has great swimming areas, campfire areas and wells. The area is open until between 1.5.-31.10.
Stora Brändö Recreational area
Recreational island is great destinations for boaters and bird watchers. You will find there campfire site, woodshet, dry toilet, information boards, viewpoints, nature tower, jetty and mooring buoy. The island is located in the municipality of Kirkkonummi.
Porkkalanniemi Recreational area
Recreational area combining forest, sea and rocky shores. Perfect place for exploring diverse nature, sea views, bird watching and fishing. With a bit of luck, you can even spot moose, while-tailed deer or long-tailed ducks. The area has several parking spots, cooking shelters, woodshelters, dry toilets and camping site. Porkkalanniemi recreational are is located in the municipality of Kirkkonummi.
Järvö Recreational area
Small recreational island without any services. Public area of the island is fenced off from the rest of privately owned island. The recreational island is located in the municipality of Kirkkonummi.
Meikko Recreational area
In Meikko, you can explore wilderness nature and enjoy hiking in remote natural areas. The nature reservation is located in the municipality of Kirkkonummi.
