The closest island accessible from the mainland is perfect for a day trip visit. You can find nature trails, playgrounds, a swimming beach, a summer restaurant Gula Villan (currently closed) in the old wooden house, or Café/kiosk located in the old fisherman cabin. Camping on the island is prohibited, but you can use several outdoor cooking shelters for outdoor cooking and picnics. The firewood is provided by the city of Espoo. The island is also known for the pavilion imitating a temple to Poseidon, which is located in the private area of the island. During summer, you can also reach the island from the mainland by kayaking, canoeing, or SUP boarding from Matinkylä Beach, where Natura Viva's equipment rental point is located.

Red line – Route Line from Otaniemi with harbors in Suomenoja, Nokkala, Haukilahti, and Otaniemi.
Yellow line – Direct Line from harbors in Suomenoja, Nokkala, and Haukilahti.
