HEYMO 1 BY SOKOS HOTELS
Parking: The parking garage has parking spaces designed for disabled visitors (parking fee is charged).
Entry & Check-in: One self-service machine has been lowered to make check-in with a wheelchair as easy as possible. There is an accessible toilet in the lobby. The hotel has eight(8) rooms designed for people with reduced mobility.
Hotel Room & Bathroom: The rooms can open an intermediate door to the next room. The rooms are located near the elevators and have two 90 cm wide separate motorized beds. Access to the bathroom is easy with a wheelchair, as all doors are 90cm wide. The equipment includes a fixed shower chair and holders on the sides of the toilet seat. There are two emergency call buttons in the bathroom.
Others: Assistance and guide dogs are welcome.
Hotel Hanaholmen
Parking: The parking lot is accessible, and a ramp leads to the main entrance.
Entry & Check-in: The entrance is spacious, and the doors open automatically. All meeting rooms are easily accessible. Note: the large auditorium is accessed via the entrance on the second floor. The building has elevators and wide corridors, making it easy to move around. The restaurant is spacious, the corridors are wide, and the tables can be moved if necessary. There is an accessible WC in the common areas of the first floor.
Hotel Room & Bathroom: The hotel has four (4) accessible rooms, all of which have two separate motorized beds. In one room, the beds are lower than usual. The light switches in all hotel rooms are wheelchair accessible. The customized bathrooms have alarm buttons, and you can order a shower chair for the room.
Others: The hotel facilities are well-suited for guests with disabilities. The auditorium has an induction loop. Assistant guidance and assistance dogs are welcome.
Hawkhill Cottage Resort
Parking: The yard of the cottages can be reached by car or escort service.
Entry & Check-in: Three (3) of Hawkhill's villas are accessible: Villa Taavetti, Villa Maria, and Villa Eino. The terrain in the area is hilly, and there are differences in height, which affects movement in a wheelchair. The paths to the three accessible cabins have been made wide with wheelchair access in mind. Ramps leading to the entrances of the cottages.
Rooms & Bathroom: The cottages have been furnished sparingly, and all furniture can be moved if necessary. One of the cabins has unobstructed access to the cabin's barbecue area. The beach can also be reached without barriers via the plank bridge from the campfire site, but there is no barrier-free access to the pier. The bathrooms in accessible cabins are spacious and suitable for, e.g., wheelchair users, but the toilets are narrow and cannot be accessed without barriers.
Hotel Nuuksio
Parking: The parking lot is flat and accessible.
Entry & Check-in: There is an accessible path to enter the hotel's first (entry-level) floor. The hotel does not have an elevator, but rooms are also available on the first (entry-level) floor. It is recommended to inform about special needs when booking.
Rooms & Bathroom: There are two (2) accessible rooms available at the hotel.
Others: Remember to share your needs and wishes in the reservation.
Scandic Espoo
Parking: There is a clear, illuminated, and defined path between the parking and the entrance with 2 disabled parking spots.
Entry & Check-in: There is a clear walkway between the entrance, reception, and the lifts. In the reception are clear signs of a hearing loop and a vibrating wake-up/fire alarm can be borrowed from reception. Corridors are wheelchair friendly.
Hotel Room & Bathroom: The hotel has one (1) barrier-free room with emergency codes or buttons in the bathroom, and the shower is without obstacles.
Others: Service/guide dogs are welcome at the hotel. The hotel also offers allergy-free rooms and the hotel restaurant is accessible with a ramp of lift.
Glo Hotel Sello
Parking: There is barrier-free access from the parking garage to the hotel reception.
Entry & Check-in: Reception is accessible via elevators from the parking garage as well as from the street level. There is an accessible restroom in the lobby.
Hotel Room & Bathroom: The hotel has three (3) accessible rooms located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the hotel. Rooms are equipped with 180cm wide double beds, and beds can be separated upon request. Accessible rooms can be connected to another room through adjoining doors.
Others: There are six steps with handrails on both sides between the hotel lobby and the restaurant. Most breakfast tables are located in the hotel lobby, and the hotel staff is happy to serve buffet items to tables in the lobby. If preferred, guests can access the buffet without using stairs from the outside.
Majvik Hotel
Parking: Parking space with a disabled sign is located near the main entrance to the hotel.
Entry & Check-in: The hotel's main entrance doors have an automatic opening, are 90 cm wide, and there is a ramp. In the lower lobby, the reception is located, and you can take the elevator (elevator door opening is 80 cm wide) to the next floor, where hotel rooms, restaurants, and meeting spaces are located. There is an accessible toilet located in the hotel's lobby.
Hotel Room & Bathroom: The hotel has two (2) rooms designed for people with limited mobility. Rooms can be connected to another room through adjoining doors.
Others: Lobby and restaurant spaces are spacious and without thresholds. You can find wheelchair-accessible space at the restaurant tables.
